 Barry Devone is a dedicated advocate for community engagement, with a career spanning both the public and private sectors. With over a decade of experience in the public sector,  Barry has consistently demonstrated his commitment to strengthening community ties and fostering positive change.

Currently serving as the Community Engagement Officer with Orange Township Public Schools, Barry plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the educational institution and the local community. In this capacity, he spearheads initiatives that empower parents, students, and residents to actively participate in shaping the future of their educational system. Barry's work here has been instrumental in building trust and cooperation between the school district and the community it serves.

Barry’s passion for community engagement extends beyond his professional role. He serves as the chairman of the board for the Greater Essex Community Uplift Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization based in East Orange, NJ. Under his leadership, the foundation has made significant strides in enhancing the lives of residents in the Greater Essex County , NJ area. Through various programs and initiatives, they address critical community needs, from education and youth development to healthcare and social services.

But Barry’s commitment to community engagement goes far beyond the boardroom. For over three decades, he has been a tireless volunteer at various community-based organizations, working hands-on to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. His dedication to serving his community has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals.
